SectorQuant Privacy PolicySectorQuant is concerned about your privacy and the security of your personal information. We want you to be aware of what kind of information we obtain from you, how we use this information, and how you can control its use. Gathering of Information Marketing to Minors This site is not designed to attract children under the age of 18. We do not obtain any personally identifiable information from any person we know to be under the age of 18 and instruct children not to send us any information. Users from the European Union are advised not to disclose personal information on this site. Resource Center Membership SectorQuant provides informative research and links of interest about investing and sector rotation. Users must volunitarily register and validate that they registered to access this member only area. Registering as a member of the Resource Center automatically signs users up for our Market Comments electronic newsletter. Electronic Newsletters SectorQuant offers an electronic newsletter to users. SectorQuant will gather the email addresses of users who voluntarily subscribe. Users may remove themselves from this mailing list by following the opt-out instructions contained in this Privacy Policy, and at the end of every newsletter. Surveys Occasionally SectorQuant conducts user surveys to better target our content to our audience. We sometimes share the aggregated demographic information in these surveys with our advertisers and partners. We never share any of this information about specific individuals with any third party. Cookies A cookie is a small data file that certain Web sites write to your hard drive when you visit them. A cookie file can contain information such as a user ID that the site uses to track the pages you've visited. But the only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. Cookies DO NOT (and cannot) gather sensitive information like your name, address, credit card number, social security number, etc. if you do not specifically give that information to us voluntarily. Credit Card Information Credit card payments are processed using PayPal, a secure Internet payment service that exchanges money over the Internet by accepting Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards. PayPal requires that you to register with them and provide credit card information. PayPal authorizes your card for payment, and we are notified of your shipping information and that your credit card has been authorized for a specific amount for a specific product or service. In the best interest of our clients and their security, SectorQuant does not store your credit card information on our site. Use of the Information SectorQuant uses information voluntarily given by our users to enhance their experience, whether to provide interactive or personalized elements on the site or to send out electronic newsletters and enable users to move seamlessly through the website. We will send out newsletters to subscribers on a regular schedule (twice a month), and occasionally send out special editions when we think subscribers might be particularly interested in something going on in the market. We use tracking information to determine which areas our site users like and don't like based on traffic to those areas. SectorQuant does not track what individual users read, but rather how well each page performs overall. SectorQuant collects aggregate information as to what pages visitors to this site access or visit. The information that we collect is used to improve the content of this site. In certain cases we may ask for your name, address, e-mail address, phone number, occupation and other miscellaneous information such as product interests.
